TOUGHENED GLASS SAFETY

⚠ CHECKING FOR DAMAGES BEFORE HANDLING

You must inspect the glass before handling to check for any damage that may have occurred in transit, such as scratches, dents or chips. If you find any visible damage, please report it to us immediately.

⚠ HANDLING WITH CARE

You must handle the glass with extreme care and caution at all times, being careful to avoid any contact with hard surfaces or objects, as the slightest nick on the edge of the glass may cause it to shatter. If you need to place the glass down for any reason before installation, avoid hard surfaces such as concrete - instead support the glass with a wooden rest or dust sheet.

⚠ Protective gloves and eye protection are to be worn at all times when carrying or handling the glass.

For large glass sheets, please make sure an appropriate number of bodies are on site to safely lift the glass.

ALTERING THE GLASS
Do not attempt cut, drill, shape or alter the glass under any circumstances. The glass we supply is ready to be installed. After the manufacturing process, toughened glass cannot be cut without shattering.
